The Italian language school, "Torre di Babele", is officially
authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education and has been in operation
since 1984, offering Italian language courses in Italy for students from all over the world as well as training courses for teachers of Italian for foreigners in Rome. The school is also one of the founding members of the Association of Italian Language Schools in Italy, A.S.I.L.S. (Associazione delle Scuole di Italiano come Lingua Seconda).

The Italian language school is located in the historic center of Rome, in an elegant Art Nouveau neighborhood full of trees and parks near "La Sapienza" University of Rome.
The Italian language school occupies two large floors of an elegant "Liberty" villa surrounded by a spacious garden where also the school's wireless internet connection is available: the ideal atmosphere to learn and extend your knowledge of the Italian language.
Italian Language Courses by Qualified Teachers
Unlike other Italian language schools in Italy, at Torre di Babele, our Italian courses are offered all year round, taught
by highly qualified teachers in small groups, with a maximum of 12 students.
Also operating as a teacher-training center, the Italian language school has developed
dynamic teaching methods of Italian and a stimulating language program that incorporates students' personal interests and various aspects of Italian culture and life in Italy.
Italian Culture, Italian Cooking Courses
Thanks to Italy's rich cultural heritage, we provide you with a stimulating extracurricular program that includes guided tours of Rome, seminars on Italian art, architecture,
cinema, literature, politics, Italian cooking and wines. Our weekend excursions include visits to Pompeii, Naples, Orvieto,
Florence and other points of interest in Italy.
Accommodations in Rome, Italy
Upon request, we provide accommodations conveniently located near the Italian language school. Such housing is available in private
homes, student apartments or hotels, for as long as you are enrolled in any of our Italian courses in Italy.
Finally, the Italian language school also offers Internet access and our language
exchange service "TANDEM", free of charge. Tandem is a method which allows the expansion and development of your language skills through an inter-linguistic exchange with Italian native speakers.
