Standard intensive Italian courses include 4 lessons a day, each lasting 45 minutes (totalling 20 lessons a week). Courses begin every Monday, with the exception of absolute beginners, who can start every other week.  Before embarking on their studies, students must take a placement test to determine their level of proficiency. The school offers all the levels described by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). Participants can join groups of students from around the world to achieve a basic understanding of Italian or enhance and improve their grasp of the language, depending on their level. Classes are small, with an average of 7 or 8 people and a maximum of 12. This allows the teacher to focus on the needs of every single student and creates a stimulating and pleasant learning environment.  All our Italian teachers are highly qualified and specialised.

  • Our short standard courses are ideal if you are planning a study holiday in Italy: you can learn the language while exploring the enduring beauty of Rome, the Eternal City that has so much to offer.
  • Our medium-length standard intensive courses are aimed at students who wish to achieve a basic understanding of Italian or enhance and improve their grasp of the language. This course would be particularly suited to anyone who plans to spend over a month in Italy for work or study and would like to enrol in an Italian course in Rome at a reasonable price.
  • Our long standard intensive courses are intended for students who wish to learn Italian over a long period (3 months or more). The price of the longer courses is particularly competitive. This course is ideal for those who wish to spend a few months in Rome learning Italian for work or academic purposes.

The course’s complementary cultural program builds on what is learned in class. Seminars allow students to take a closer look at the culture, literature, history of art, music, fashion, cinema, design and cuisine of Italy. We also offer trips to cultural interest points in Rome and neighboring areas. All students can practice their Italian skills outside of class by accessing our “Tandem” language exchange service.
