Financial aid and scholarships for Italian language teachers abroad

Our training and refresher courses are part of the Comenius-Grundtvig database for in-service training.  Teachers who are residents of the European Union can request financial aid to cover up to 100% of the cost of courses, accommodations and travel expenses.

For detailed information on how to apply for financial aid from Comenius-Grundtvig, please contact the National European Agency in your country, indicating the reference number of the course you would like to attend.

For courses from 1 May through 31 August 2013, applications for financial aid must be submitted by 16 January 2013.
For courses from 1 September through 31 December 2013, applications must be submitted by 30 April 2013.
For courses from 1 January through 30 April 2014, applications must be submitted by 17 September 2013.

Teachers who are residents of the following countries can contact their respective National European Agency  to obtain funding for participation in our courses:

How to apply for Comenius-Grundtvig financial aid.
  1. Choose the course you would like to attend and contact us.
  2. We will send you a pre-registration letter and the detailed program of the chosen course to be attached to the loan request to your National European Agency .
  3. Contact your National Agency and download the loan application form from their website.
  4. Attach our pre-registration confirmation and course program to the loan application form and send it all to the National Agency before the entry closing date. Make sure you put the date and your signature and remember: the sooner you send the request, the greater the chances of obtaining a loan.
  5. It usually takes from 8 to 10 weeks from the entry closing date to know the outcome of the loan request .
  6. Please inform us promptly even where should the outcome of your request be negative.
  7. If your application for financial aid is approved, you may choose to pay an initial deposit or the entire balance due in one payment, and we will invoice you accordingly.
