Reflexive Verbs in Italian
So here it is! The first video of hopefully a series of videos to aid Italian language learners around the globe to learn Italian or simply clarify their doubts about single topics of the Italian language.
After consulting the students at Torre di Babele, we decided to begin with one of the topics that cause them the most trouble, reflexive verbs. In Italian the use of reflexive verbs is rather common when it comes to daily actions. Reflexive verbs require the use of reflexive pronouns for instance, “mi”, “ti”, and “si”. Ok… ok…! I’ll shut up, at let Alvise explain it to you.
I hope you like it. We look forward to reading lots of comments on this blog post. We will need your input to meet your needs, so don’t hesitate to add your suggestion for new topics or improvements to be developed on these videos. For suggestions you can also use the form on the index of Italian Online Resources.
P.S. I almost forgot… the videos show a hint of our teaching method, a direct approach to Italian, no translations!
Are you ready to learn Italian?
Enjoy the Lesson!

Re Reflexive Verb video. Excellent lesson, excellent material but the audio is not good and the video is rather dark. The sound on the introduction (music) is perfect. I think you can just pass the audio through a plug-in that will equalise the entire audio up to the correct level. I’m not sure about the dark video — probably that isn’t such a problem.
Thanks for the facility. Much appreciated.
It is a very good idea with the video and exercises, but i can not understand the teacher very well. He is to gentle and his voice is to faint. And I also can not open the exersise file because it is a adope file of the new generation and my pc does not accept the new plug ins.
Have a nice evening and Greetings from GERMANY @ all
Thanks for your comments…!
@ David: Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this lesson wasn’t recorded with a mic. That’s why the audio is lil’ off. Maybe some headphones could help. We will certainly take in consideration the lights.
@ Sina: what do you mean that you cannot understand him? because of the audio, or the the topic? I’m sorry you cannot open the excercise. It worked for me.
@David: Did it worked for you?
However I’ll see to upload another version so that you can download it.
Thanks again for all your recommendations. We will certainly keep them at heart. In two weeks will release something else! So keep tuned!
